The FADA campaign for a drug-free life will return from October 26 through October 30 with a week of activities for schools, families and the wider Aruba community.
Daily themes promote prevention
The Aruba Anti-Drug Foundation is organizing the third edition under the message “Be a hero, stay drug free.” FADA prevention worker Rulienne Arends said this year’s program includes changes based on community feedback.
The week begins with participants wearing red on Monday, October 26. Tuesday invites people to identify a personal “superpower,” while Wednesday focuses on ways people can help others stay healthy and drug-free.
On Thursday, groups are invited to form a human symbol such as a heart, red ribbon or peace sign. The final day asks participants to dress as a favorite superhero.
Schools and families invited to participate
FADA is inviting schools, families and community groups to join the activities. Participants may upload photographs through the foundation’s website using the campaign poster link, according to the announcement.
