Aruba’s school supply support increased by Afl. 50 for the 2026 school year, the Department of Social Affairs has announced. The higher amount took effect on September 1.
Eligible clients receive Afl. 300
Clients who submit their school enrollment declaration on time can receive Afl. 300 each September. The total assistance is capped at Afl. 1,100 per family, according to the department, known locally as DAS.
DAS said 378 school declarations were delivered by the deadline and the clients concerned have already received the increase this year.
Additional help reached 261 students
The department’s Guia Social section also helped 261 children and young people obtain resources needed for school. DAS described the measure as part of its support for families during periods when education-related expenses are higher.
