Average round-trip airfare from Colombia to Oranjestad has fallen 17% compared with the same period in 2025, according to an analysis based on KAYAK data.
The average price for Aruba flights from Colombia was approximately 1,222,621 Colombian pesos for a round-trip economy ticket. The data covered travel from August through October 2026.
Oranjestad ranks fourth for average fare
Among the international destinations included in the comparison, Oranjestad had the fourth-lowest average round-trip fare from Colombia. Panama City ranked first at 923,941 pesos, followed by Guatemala City and Santo Domingo.
Aruba’s 17% year-over-year decline was larger than the decreases reported for Miami, at 8%, and Willemstad, Curaçao, at 7%.
Exchange rate may improve purchasing power
A stronger Colombian peso against the U.S. dollar can also increase travelers’ purchasing power for expenses linked to the dollar, including accommodation, food, transportation, shopping and activities.
That combination could make Aruba more competitive in the Colombian visitor market. Colombia is an important nearby market with direct air links to the island.
