A man was taken to the hospital after suffering a serious head wound during a fight on Koningstraat on Tuesday night.
Police and ambulance personnel were dispatched after authorities received a report that a fight had left someone bleeding.
Victim found on Johan de Wittstraat
The confrontation had ended before the first patrol arrived, and the injured person had already left the immediate area. Officers searched nearby streets and located him on Johan de Wittstraat.
According to AWE24, the man was bleeding heavily from the head after a bottle was broken against him during the fight. Ambulance personnel provided treatment and transported him to the hospital.
