SAN NICOLAS, Aruba — A 23-year-old woman died Sunday afternoon after a UTV overturned on Grapefield Road, according to local reporting based on information from Aruba police.

EA News reported that Police Central Dispatch received the call at about 2:58 p.m. Police patrols and ambulance personnel were sent to the scene, where the UTV had overturned for reasons that remained under investigation.
Paramedics provided medical assistance, but the driver was unresponsive and could not be saved. A forensic doctor pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The source identified her as Kimberly van Ardenne, who was born in the Netherlands and was 23 years old.

The Grapefield UTV crash raised Aruba’s 2026 traffic-fatality count to ten, according to the same report. Forensic police and traffic specialists attended to investigate how the crash occurred, while Victim Support personnel were activated to assist those affected.
