A St. Lucia resident says someone forced entry into his home during the day and stole cash and a passport while he was at work.
Resident reports forced entry and theft
Louis Hodge told 24ora that he returned from work on Monday to find a damaged door and belongings disturbed inside the residence. He reported that Afl. 105 in cash was taken from a small wallet together with a passport stored in a money holder.
The resident also said a security camera had been knocked down. Photographs published with the report showed damage at the property, but the source did not report an arrest or identify a confirmed suspect.
Claims remain part of resident’s account
Hodge expressed concern that the person responsible could return and said he planned to secure the damaged entry. He also described someone he suspects, but that suspicion has not been confirmed by police and is not presented here as fact.
The available report describes the St. Lucia home burglary through the resident’s public account. No official police statement or additional investigative update was included.
