Aruban author and historian Adolf “Dufi” Kock has discussed two of his recent books during an audience with Governor Alfonso Boekhoudt.
Two publications presented in the meeting
DIARIO reported that Kock was accompanied by Gerald Franca for the audience. Their discussion focused on Kock’s books Seccion Historico di Aruba and Mision di Marineronan Noruego.
The first title concerns aspects of Aruba’s history, while the second addresses the mission of Norwegian sailors. The brief report did not provide additional summaries, publication dates or details about distribution.
Work contributes to Aruba’s historical record
The Dufi Kock history books have been presented previously in Aruba, including through a National Library donation and a community signing event. The audience with the governor is a separate recent event focused on their contribution to documenting and describing Aruban history.
The Governor’s Cabinet provided the photograph accompanying the original report. ArubaNews did not reuse that image and has created an original featured illustration for this article.
