A woman was taken to IMSAN after falling near a truck during Sunday’s cultural parade in Brazil, according to a report from the scene.
Dress caught beneath truck wheel
AWE24 reported that an initial emergency call suggested a truck had driven over a parade participant. When ambulance personnel arrived, they learned that the woman had fallen and that a wheel had passed over part of her dress rather than over her body.
The circumstances surrounding the fall were not detailed in the report. It also did not specify the nature or severity of any injury.
Ambulance transports woman for assessment
Ambulance personnel attended to the woman and transported her to IMSAN. The Brazil parade truck incident occurred during the Sunday cultural celebration, which drew groups, bands and spectators into the streets.
No further update on the woman’s condition was available in the source report. The account is presented cautiously because the first report from the scene differed from what responders found.
