One person was treated at the scene after two cars collided in front of Parke Curason in Jaburibari on Sunday afternoon.
Cars collide near the park
AWE24 reported that the driver of a Hyundai Accent moved toward the left side of the road, apparently after becoming distracted, and collided with a Mitsubishi Lancer traveling in the opposite direction.
Police and ambulance personnel responded to the Jaburibari crash. The report initially described several people as hurt, but said those involved declined medical attention except for one person who had a cut.
No hospital transport reported
Ambulance personnel treated that person at the location. The source did not report a hospital transport or provide further information about the condition of anyone involved.
The collision is separate from an incident reported the previous day in which a child fell inside Parke Curason. The two events occurred near the same location but involved different circumstances.
