ORANJESTAD, Aruba – Toyota Hilux Fire Under Investigation in Madiki after a pickup truck caught fire during the early hours of Sunday morning, prompting an emergency response from police and firefighters.
Emergency services were dispatched to the Madiki neighborhood after reports that a Toyota Hilux pickup truck was on fire. According to initial reports, neighbors alerted the vehicle’s owner by knocking on the door to inform them that the pickup had caught fire.
When police arrived, they found the Toyota Hilux engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly began extinguishing the blaze using high-pressure water and were able to bring the fire under control after a brief firefighting operation.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Authorities described the incident as suspicious, and police have launched an investigation to establish how the vehicle caught fire.
