ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Two people were injured in a stabbing incident following a fight near Playa Pabao on Thursday night, prompting a large emergency response from police and ambulance services.
Authorities first responded to a report of a man with a stab wound beneath his eye on Boliviastraat. Shortly afterward, a second report was received involving another victim with a stab wound to the neck on Koningstraat. Ambulance crews were redirected to assist both injured individuals.
Police arrested the first victim, who is suspected of stabbing the second victim during the altercation. Both injured individuals received medical treatment at the scene before being transported to the hospital, while the suspect was taken into custody under police escort.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
