ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Police responded Tuesday afternoon to a traffic accident at the intersection of Dadelstraat and Caya Papa Juan Pablo II.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the collision occurred after the driver of a Toyota Isis traveling on Dadelstraat failed to stop and yield the right of way to a Volkswagen traveling on Caya Papa Juan Pablo II.
The impact resulted in vehicle damage, but fortunately no injuries were reported.
Authorities documented the incident and reminded motorists of the importance of obeying traffic signs and yielding the right of way to help prevent accidents at intersections.
