ORANJESTAD, Aruba – A serious workplace accident was reported Thursday morning at a tire shop in Piedra Plat, prompting a response from both police and emergency medical personnel.
Upon arrival, authorities learned that a worker had been inflating a tire when it suddenly exploded. The blast caused severe injuries to the worker’s hand.
Paramedics provided immediate medical assistance at the scene before transporting the injured worker to the hospital for further treatment.
