ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The newly appointed President of the Aruban Association of Family Doctors (HAVA), epidemiologist Dr. Maribelle Tromp, outlined her vision for the organization following a complete board renewal.

Dr. Tromp emphasized that one of HAVA’s primary goals is to unify all family doctors in Aruba under a common direction, ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care. With 72 members, including doctors in training for specialization, the association seeks to harmonize procedures, implement standard protocols, and strengthen collaboration among all members.

The new board intends to foster internal cohesion, standardize workflows, and establish regulations that guarantee patients receive high-quality care when visiting their family doctor.
