ORANJESTAD (AAN): N.V. ELMAR has announced the appointment of Edward Harold “Eddy” Oduber as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective June 1, 2026.
For nearly four decades, Oduber has built a career in the energy and industrial sectors, focusing on critical infrastructure, operational reliability, and safety—key areas for Aruba’s electricity distribution. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Oduber has held multiple executive and operational leadership roles in Aruba and abroad. Most recently, he served as Terminal Operations Manager at Seaport Canaveral Oil Terminal in Florida, overseeing large-scale fuel operations. Previously, he held management positions in refineries and led Terminal di Energia Aruba (TDEA), supervising critical operations and driving operational excellence.
“Mr. Oduber brings a unique combination of technical expertise, executive leadership, and deep energy sector knowledge, both in Aruba and internationally,” said Richard Frank, Chairman of ELMAR’s Supervisory Board. “His experience and strategic vision position him to guide ELMAR in its next phase of growth, modernization, and innovation.”
As CEO, Oduber will focus on strengthening operational reliability, driving strategic infrastructure investments, supporting Aruba’s sustainability goals, and enhancing the quality of electricity service to the community.
