The Aruba Lions Club, in collaboration with Xavier University and several local organizations, will present the “Feria di Salud” for the Oranjestad district. This health fair comes after a successful edition was held in San Nicolas, continuing the club’s efforts to provide services to the community.
Scheduled for Saturday, June 13, the event will be hosted at Xavier University, situated at Santa Helenastraat 23. Activities will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Lions Club is working alongside the Mary Joan Foundation, Fundacion ABO, Aruba Vision Center, Quota, Fepoh, and Smile Mobile to facilitate the services.
Organizers have invited the general public to attend without the need for a prior appointment. A wide range of free health checks will be available, including assessments for weight, blood sugar, blood pressure, vision, hearing, chest health, dental condition, and cholesterol levels.
The Aruba Lions Club stated that they have been organizing this initiative for several years, reinforcing that the health of the people should be a priority for everyone. They encourage all residents to visit Xavier University on Saturday morning to participate in the free health screenings.
