The Dienst Openbare Werken (D.O.W.) has publicly addressed an incident involving a person who drove a pick-up truck onto the grass to cut a tree. Labeling the action as abuse, the department emphasized that vehicles should not be driven onto the grass for this purpose.
In their statement, the D.O.W. clarified that vehicles are permitted to park on the sidewalk or at the side of the road, but driving onto the grass is strictly prohibited. The department specifically pointed out the damage caused by the truck, asking if the individual responsible plans to also repair the lawn.
