During his official visit to The Hague, Aruba’s Prime Minister Mike Eman met with Thom van Campen (VVD), President of the Dutch Tweede Kamer. The leaders discussed historical relations within the Kingdom of the Netherlands and opportunities to strengthen cooperation in strategic areas.
Van Campen emphasized the importance of maintaining regular contact and fostering a shared vision for the Kingdom’s future, including culture, nature, and economic development. He praised Prime Minister Eman’s representation of Aruba and highlighted the significance of open dialogue to ensure strong ties among all Kingdom countries.
As a symbolic gesture of friendship, Prime Minister Eman presented Van Campen with the book Volk van Veerkracht, detailing Aruba’s history, resilience, and identity within the Kingdom.
