During Aruba’s official delegation visit to The Hague, Prime Minister Mike Eman met with CDA leader Henri Bontenbal in the Dutch Tweede Kamer. Bontenbal described the meeting as a positive dialogue between “Christian-democrat friends,” exchanging views on the Kingdom of the Netherlands’ future and opportunities for cooperation among its countries.
Bontenbal emphasized the importance of focusing not only on past issues but also on future opportunities and “win-win” scenarios within the Kingdom. Discussions included specific projects such as cooperation with Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and strategic partnerships with KLM, aimed at strengthening Aruba-Netherlands connections.
He also reassured that CDA remains committed to a strong Kingdom and continuing to support positive relations between Aruba and other Kingdom countries. The Aruba government values these constructive discussions and continues to work on fostering relations based on mutual respect, cooperation, and added value for all Kingdom nations.
