ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The Executive Committee of Panam Sports has arrived in Aruba for a scheduled series of meetings addressing regional sports matters. The delegation, headed by President Neven Ilic and Secretary General Jimena Saldaña, arrived on the island yesterday. They are joined by the rest of the executive board members who will convene for sessions taking place today and tomorrow.
To officially commence the visit, a welcome dinner was hosted at Gasparito Real Estate Aruba. The Aruban Olympic Committee (COA) organized the reception to welcome the international representatives. The venue provided a setting for the COA team to receive the Panam Sports members and extend a greeting characteristic of local hospitality.
The evening allowed attendees to converse freely in a relaxed environment before beginning their work. This interaction helped prepare the complete group for two intense days of meetings focused on sports in the region. The event marked the official start of the delegation’s agenda while in Aruba.
