ORANJESTAD (AAN) – A group of volunteers from KFC Aruba visited Colegio Conrado Coronel in Morgenster on Saturday morning to officially launch the company’s Harvest Program. The initiative is designed to support the Aruban community through the creation of gardens and the planting of trees.
More than 30 employees from various KFC stores and support centers united to assist the school with the renovation of its new garden. Jairo Boekhoudt, Interim General Manager, highlighted the importance of KFC giving back to its community consistently as a global brand. He noted that the program aims to educate the community on the subject of sustainability through harvesting.
As part of the project, the school will utilize the renovated garden to teach students how to plant their own produce. KFC Aruba has committed to continuing its support for the community through this program and other upcoming initiatives.
