ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Venezuelan hotel operator GH Hoteles celebrated the official opening of voco Surfside Aruba on May 21. This expansion marks a strategic step in the company’s internationalization process, bringing the distinctive brand to Surfside Beach.
The property is now part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global industry leader with over 7,000 hotels in more than 100 countries. Within this network, voco has established itself by offering contemporary, relaxed, and authentic experiences, blending personalized service with international standards of quality.
A central feature of the guest experience is NOOK World Cuisine, which offers an international fusion menu celebrating global diversity through fresh and local ingredients. The restaurant has established itself as a new culinary hotspot at Surfside, combining artisanal mixology and contemporary design.
During the opening ceremony, GH Hoteles CEO Claudia Escarrá expressed enthusiasm for the milestone. She noted that the company’s history with Aruba began 22 years ago, stating that the opening of voco Surfside Aruba is a testament to sustainable growth. Escarrá emphasized that this investment reflects a vision of expansion aimed at elevating hospitality standards in the Caribbean.
