SAVANETA (AAN) – Authorities were alerted on Friday around midday regarding an injured elderly man found lying on the ground near the Savaneta Police Station. Patrol officers arrived at the scene to investigate the report and confirmed that an individual was present with visible injuries.
Officers observed that the man, who is over 92 years of age, had sustained a wound to his head. An ambulance was dispatched immediately to the location to provide necessary medical assistance.
Paramedics treated the man at the site before deciding to transport him to the hospital for further evaluation. Medical personnel opted for advanced observation and care due to the man’s advanced age and the nature of the injury sustained during the fall.
