ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AAN) — The Dominican community Aruba Juan Pablo Duarte anniversary was commemorated on Monday morning with a floral tribute honoring the 213th birthday of Juan Pablo Duarte, founding father of the Dominican Republic.
The ceremony was organized by the Fundación Dominicana Arubense Juan Pablo Duarte, together with its affiliate Duartiana Aruba, and took place at the bust of Juan Pablo Duarte in Aruba.
Members of the foundation, representatives of the Dominican folkloric group, firefighters from San Nicolas, and members of the Dominican community in Aruba were present to pay their respects during the commemorative event.
The organizers extended congratulations to the Dominican community on this important national anniversary and highlighted the significance of honoring Duarte’s legacy, values, and contributions to Dominican identity and independence.
Warm congratulations were expressed to all Dominicans on this meaningful occasion.
