The Aruba Police Force (KPA) has announced that Police School applications for the Police School will be accepted until Thursday, June 5. Prospective candidates can submit their forms at the Police School located on Fortheuvelstraat in San Nicolas. Applications are being processed Monday through Thursday, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Police Spokesperson Liliana Rasmijn reported that there has been a strong reaction from the community, with many schools also requesting informational sessions to boost interest among students. To be eligible, applicants must be Dutch nationals residing in Aruba, aged 17 to 34, and possess a MAVO, EPI, or EPB doorstroom diploma. A minimum height of 1.60 meters is also required. Rasmijn noted that officials will verify all documents immediately upon submission to inform candidates if they meet the necessary standards.
In addition to meeting the academic and physical requirements, the spokesperson stressed the importance of professional presentation. Rasmijn advised applicants to arrive neatly dressed, treating the submission as a formal job application rather than a casual visit. She specifically discouraged wearing shorts or slippers. This recruitment drive is part of the KPA’s continued efforts to engage the youth and strengthen the force.
