ORANJESTAD – Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten met with Aruba Prime Minister Mike Eman during his official visit to Aruba, where both leaders discussed regional geopolitical tensions, Venezuela, and Aruba’s economic future.

According to officials, the talks focused heavily on the situation in Venezuela and its impact on Aruba and the wider Caribbean region. Prime Minister Jetten emphasized that Aruba remains vulnerable to global economic instability because of its strong dependence on imports.

The meeting also addressed Aruba’s plans to diversify its economy and strengthen social development through investments in education, housing, healthcare, and sustainability initiatives.
