The Aruba Lions Club Health Fair is returning to San Nicolas with its second edition, offering free medical screenings and health services to the community.
The event is being organized by the Aruba Lions Club in collaboration with several organizations and institutions, including Augustinus College, Xavier University, Mary Joan Foundation, Fundacion ABO, Aruba Vision Center, Quota, Fepoh, and Smile Mobile.
The Aruba Lions Club Health Fair will take place on Saturday, May 23, at Augustinus College in San Nicolas from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Organizers are inviting the entire community to attend and take advantage of the free health services available during the event. No appointment is required, and all checkups will be completely free of charge.
During the Aruba Lions Club Health Fair, attendees will have access to several important medical screenings and wellness checks, including cholesterol testing, blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, hearing exams, vision screenings, breast and abdominal examinations, and cleaning services for dental prostheses.
The event aims to encourage preventive healthcare and raise awareness about the importance of regular medical checkups.
According to organizers, the Aruba Lions Club Health Fair has been held for several years as part of the club’s ongoing commitment to prioritizing the health and wellbeing of Aruba’s population.
Community health fairs provide residents with convenient access to healthcare services and can help identify potential medical conditions before they become more serious.
The Aruba Lions Club Health Fair is especially important for individuals who may not regularly visit healthcare providers or who want to monitor their health through preventive screenings.
Organizers continue emphasizing that maintaining good health should be a priority for everyone in Aruba and encourage residents to make use of the opportunity.
The Aruba Lions Club Health Fair also highlights the strong collaboration between local organizations, educational institutions, and healthcare providers working together to improve public health in the community.
Residents attending the event are encouraged to check their weight, sugar levels, blood pressure, cholesterol, hearing, vision, and other important health indicators.
The Aruba Lions Club Health Fair is expected to attract many community members seeking free and accessible healthcare services while promoting awareness about healthy living and disease prevention.
Organizers hope the event will continue strengthening community health and encouraging proactive care throughout Aruba.
