ORANJESTAD (AAN) – During his official visit to Costa Rica, Aruba Prime Minister Mike Eman stated that meetings and discussions have been progressing positively, with a focus on strengthening bilateral and regional relations.
One of the main moments of the visit was a meeting with Costa Rica’s president-elect, Laura Fernández Delgado, who is scheduled to be officially inaugurated Friday morning during a ceremony at the National Stadium in San José.
During the inauguration ceremony, Aruba will represent the Kingdom of the Netherlands, reaffirming diplomatic ties between the regions.
According to Prime Minister Eman, the meeting with the president-elect created an important opportunity to exchange ideas about cooperation between Costa Rica, Aruba, and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
“We bring a unique perspective as a Kingdom with a presence in Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America,” Eman stated.
The visit to Costa Rica forms part of a broader effort to strengthen Aruba’s role in regional dialogue while encouraging collaboration and exchanges with neighboring countries in Central and South America.
