ORANJESTAD (AAN) – IBiSA Aruba represented the island at the Asuncion Sports Summit 2026, held recently at TRYP Wyndham Asunción in Paraguay.
The high-level regional meeting brought together ministers and international figures from across the Americas to discuss inclusive sports, leadership, and cooperation. Representing the Minister of Sports, IBiSA contributed to dialogues on the role of sports in social development.
A significant outcome of the summit was IBiSA’s formalization as an official member of the South American Sports Council (CONSUDE). This membership strengthens Aruba’s presence in regional sports administration and reaffirms the island’s commitment to collaboration and inclusion in the sports sector.
