Car Crashes into House Wall in Mahuma
An accident occurred in Mahuma on Friday afternoon before sunset when a Suzuki Swift A-3314, coming from the direction of Oranjestad, reportedly lost control on a curve and crashed into the wall of a house.
At the time of the incident, a lady driving a black Toyota was heading in the opposite direction and fortunately managed to swerve away from the Suzuki Swift. A second later, and the outcome for the Toyota could have been very different. The driver of the Suzuki Swift was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Homeowner Demands Speed Bump Installation
Regarding the house at Mahuma 32B, it was understood that this is not the first time a vehicle has crashed into their wall. The homeowner expressed that three people have previously nearly lost their lives when their cars crashed into the wall. The owner is now asking the relevant authorities to install a speed bump, given the recurring nature of Mahuma car accidents at this curve.
