Today, on April 23, 2026, at 7:00 PM, the exhibition “Diary of Journey, Diary of Dream” will open at the Cas Rosenberg, National Archaeological Museum Aruba (MANA).
Artist Arturo Desimone, in collaboration with MANA, invites the public to attend the exhibition opening during a pleasant evening in their garden.
The Indigenous expressions at MANA were the first pieces of ancient art in which the artist Arturo Desimone (born in Aruba in 1984) directly participated. Desimone spent his first 20 years on his home island before living a nomadic life in various countries – from the Netherlands to Tunisia, Argentina, and Colombia.
However, an echo of the mysteries of Indigenous (pre-colonial) art that he found in Aruba has remained in his works. They interact with other influences and realities. In his exhibition, he presents a dream-like diary, including beasts and journeys.
Arturo Desimone will display his artwork at Cas Rosenberg, MANA, for the public until the end of June 2026. Interested visitors can attend the exhibition from Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The National Archaeological Museum Aruba is located at the historic and modern building complex at Schelpstraat 42 in Oranjestad.
