ORANJESTAD — The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.), in collaboration with Aruba Ports Authority N.V. (APA N.V.), extended a warm welcome to cruise ships marking the start of the 2026 season during inaugural calls this month.
First Calls on April 16
On April 16, 2026, Aruba received its first calls from two vessels: Queen Anne and Star Princess. Queen Anne was represented locally by shipping agency SEL Maduro and Sons, while Star Princess was handled by Armada Port Agency. A.T.A. Visitor Care Liaison Marouska Heyliger attended the first call ceremony alongside representatives from APA N.V.
Luxury Expedition Yacht Arrives April 19
The ultra-luxury expedition yacht Scenic Eclipse made its inaugural call to Aruba on April 19, also represented by SEL Maduro and Sons. The visit strengthens Aruba’s connection with the luxury and expedition cruise segment.

About the Vessels
Queen Anne is a Pinnacle-class cruise ship operated by Cunard Line, capable of accommodating nearly 3,000 guests. Star Princess is a next-generation cruise ship operated by Princess Cruises and part of the innovative Sphere-class series. Scenic Eclipse is an ultra-luxury expedition yacht designed for immersive exploration experiences.
During each inaugural call, a plakkaat exchange ceremony took place.
