ORANJESTAD (AAN): Local brand ARUBIANO paid tribute to community leaders in Noord by presenting a symbolic image of the Virgin of Alto Vista during a special recognition event.
The ARUBIANO Noord Community Tribute took place at the Noord Community Center during the “Noordflix” event, where several respected individuals were honored for their lifelong contributions.
Among those recognized were Jacobo Pedro Henriquez for promoting faith and prayer, Violeta Frans for her work in culture and art, Pedro “Perucho” Gonçalves for community service, Frans Wolff for his social contributions, and Francisca Duarte for her impact in education.
The emotional ceremony highlighted the importance of honoring individuals who have helped shape Aruba’s cultural and social identity.
As part of the tribute, ARUBIANO presented replicas of the Virgin of Alto Vista, crafted with care and respect, as a meaningful gesture of appreciation.
