ORANJESTAD (AAN): The Aruba Mindfulness Institute (AMI), with support from CEDE Aruba, is organizing a special wellness experience for the community at Centro di Bario Savaneta.
The initiative, known as AMI Wellness Savaneta Aruba, aims to strengthen community well-being and resilience through accessible education and mindful activities. AMI’s mission focuses on promoting mental health and awareness, guided by its motto: “Every calm mind is a seed of well-being in the community.”
The event, titled “AMI den Bario,” is designed to offer participants a multi-level experience. It includes educational workshops with inspirational guidance, relaxation and reflection exercises, social and creative interactions, live music aligned with the theme, and a culinary experience featuring soup and natural juice made from local ingredients.
The AMI Wellness Savaneta Aruba event will take place on Saturday, April 18, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the community center in Savaneta. The organization invites everyone in the community to participate and explore different aspects of well-being.
In addition, AMI is collaborating with Shoco Wellness at the University of Aruba to offer a free mindfulness workshop titled “Mindful Beginnings.” These sessions will be held on May 4 and June 1 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maria Convent Chapel.
