The Aruba national orchestra anthem performance is fully prepared for a historic moment as part of the island’s national celebrations.

In recognition of 50 years of Aruba’s National Anthem and Flag and 40 years of Status Aparte, the National Orchestra of Aruba has been intensively rehearsing for the official ceremony, where the national anthem will be performed in the presence of distinguished guests, including His Majesty the King.

During the ceremony, the orchestra will accompany the choir in performing “Aruba Dushi Tera”, as well as the Dutch national anthem “Wilhelmus”, which is part of the official protocol for the event.

Recent rehearsals have demonstrated that the orchestra is well-prepared to deliver a performance worthy of Aruba’s national symbols and heritage.

The orchestra is led by Franklin Granadillo, a highly respected musician in Aruba known for his contributions to classical music and his dedication to cultural development on the island. Over the years, Granadillo has played an important role in guiding new generations of musicians and strengthening the presence of instrumental music in Aruba.

Under his leadership, the orchestra has dedicated significant time and effort to preparing for this important occasion. According to Granadillo, performing the national anthem during such a historic event is both a great responsibility and a source of deep pride.

The Aruba national orchestra anthem performance also highlights the collaboration between the orchestra and the choir led by Maybeline Arends-Croes, bringing together local talent to honor Aruba’s identity and history.

The anthem performance is expected to be one of the most solemn and meaningful moments of the ceremony, symbolizing the island’s journey, national pride, and the contributions of generations who helped shape Aruba’s autonomy.

With strong preparation, discipline, and passion for music, the orchestra and choir are ready to deliver a memorable and dignified performance for this historic celebration.
