The Aruba drone ban March 2026 has been officially announced as part of strict security measures for the upcoming visit of His Majesty King Willem Alexander.

The Aruba Police Force, together with the Department of Aviation and the Government of Aruba, confirmed that the use of drones and all types of remote-controlled aircraft will be strictly prohibited across the island.

The Aruba drone ban March 2026 will be in effect from 8:00 p.m. on March 17, 2026, until 8:00 p.m. on March 18, 2026.

The restriction applies to the entire territory of Aruba, including airspace up to 6,500 feet in altitude and extending 500 meters offshore into surrounding waters.

In addition to drones, the ban also includes all local flights, such as small aircraft and helicopters, during the same time period. The only exception will be international commercial flights, which will continue to operate for arrivals and departures at Queen Beatrix International Airport.

Aircraft operated by local authorities will be exempt from the restriction as part of official duties.

Authorities emphasized that the Aruba drone ban March 2026 is necessary to ensure national security during the royal visit. The public is strongly advised to comply with these regulations to avoid violations and support safety efforts across the island.

The Aruba Police Force has urged the community to take note of these temporary restrictions and cooperate fully during this important national event.
