The prestigious AHATA Excellence Awards, organized annually by the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association (AHATA), took place on Saturday night, celebrating 38 local professionals who continue to elevate Aruba’s standard of excellence in hospitality.
Held in the elegant ballroom of The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba, the event brought together over 250 guests for an unforgettable evening recognizing dedication, passion, and exceptional service across the island’s tourism industry.
The AHATA Excellence Awards symbolize the appreciation of Aruba’s tourism community for the unmatched service these professionals provide. Each honoree received a specially designed artistic trophy by local artist Gilbert Senchi — a seashell-shaped piece representing the warmth and resilience of Aruba’s hospitality. The awards were presented by AHATA President and CEO, Mrs. Tisa LaSorte.
