Jurette Croes, PR representative for the Department of Public Health (DVG), announced that from September 15, 2025, a new service has been introduced for all AZV cardholders. Now, individuals who need a health certificate or those requiring a green card to work in the hospitality sector can access their digital health certificates directly through the Aruba Health App after completing their tests.
Previously, individuals had to visit the Department of Public Health to collect a printed certificate, but now, users can simply download the Aruba Health App, go through the process, and receive their health certificate digitally.
“Not everyone can use this yet, as the Health App is still linked to the AZV Card. For those requiring a green card to work, we advise them to start the process through Google. Download the app, follow the steps, and you will receive your certificate digitally,” said Jurette Croes.
She added that the app also offers a feature where users can print the certificate and is easily controlled by the relevant authorities. Users can show their certificate through the app when needed.
“The app also includes other functionalities, such as the ability to contact your family doctor, schedule appointments, and view your prescriptions. Additionally, COVID-19 vaccinations are still available in the Aruba Health App. The Department of Public Health is working to add more services soon, including the option to view Yellow Fever vaccination records,” said Jurette Croes.
