ORANJESTAD (AAN): Seven athletes from Aruba have taken a significant step towards their Olympic dreams.

In the presence of the Aruba Olympic Committee (COA), these athletes signed contracts granting them Olympic Scholarships for the 2025–2028 period.

The scholarship, made possible through the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Solidarity program, provides financial support for their training and preparation. This enables the athletes to fully focus on their primary goal: qualifying for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

The seven athletes awarded the scholarships are Ethan Westera, Kaj Rozeboom, and Zara Rozeboom (Olympic Windsurfing), Mikel Schreuders, Patrick Groters, and Chloe Farro (Track and Field), and Maelynn Fradl (Taekwondo Kyorugi).

The COA congratulates these athletes for their dedication and achievements over the past years, which have earned them this vital support for their Olympic journey.
