Looking for an adrenaline rush while soaking in Aruba’s natural beauty? We recently joined Fofoti Tours for a thrilling UTV adventure across the island — and what a ride it was!
🤝 A Warm Welcome
Our adventure kicked off with a warm greeting from Tanisha, the Sales Manager at Fofoti Tours. After checking our licenses and waivers, we picked our complimentary bandanas (bonus points for style!) — “Scream” for horror fans and “Anonymous” for our Web Developer, Greg.
🚙 Meet Your Guide, Buckle Up & Roll!
Jonathan, our tour guide, won us over instantly with his laid-back and knowledgeable vibe. He gave us the rundown on UTV safety (these are more robust and protected than regular ATVs) and ensured everyone was prepped and ready before hitting the trails. And then — off we went!
🏞️ Arikok National Park & the Natural Pool
Our first stop was Arikok National Park, where the dusty trails, dramatic views, and desert terrain made for an epic ride. The Natural Pool (Conchi) was the highlight — a rocky enclave protected from the crashing waves, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. With the sea calm that day, we soaked it all in — crystal clear water and all.
⛏️ Gold Rush History at Bushiribana
We revved onward to the Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, once used for processing gold in the 19th century. Jonathan shared its history, and we had plenty of time to explore and snap Instagram-worthy shots against the stunning stone backdrop.
⛪ Final Stop: Alto Vista Chapel
Our final stop was the serene Alto Vista Chapel, Aruba’s first Roman Catholic Church. Surrounded by cactus-filled landscapes and coastal breezes, it’s a tranquil place to pause and reflect — and a perfect end to our action-packed tour.
🎉 Back to Base — But Still Buzzing!
After nearly four hours of desert trails, ocean views, bumpy roads, and local legends, we headed back, ending our tour with music-filled vibes aboard a colorful party bus. Fofoti even took care of our pick-up and drop-off — smooth and easy.
Adventurous, scenic, and educational, this UTV tour offers a side of Aruba you won’t get from the beach lounger. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or a nature lover, this ride is one for the books. And yes, Greg’s already browsing for a UTV of his own.
