ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Stichting Tienda di Educacion celebrated its 14th anniversary on May 18. Foundation official Miosotis Tromp discussed the milestone in an interview with Matutino DIARIO, describing the occasion as a significant achievement for the organization.
Tromp reflected on the foundation’s history, noting that it started as a small team before gradually developing and growing. Today, Stichting Tienda di Educacion provides guidance, advice, and support to the entire Aruban community, placing a major emphasis on the area of child-rearing.
According to Tromp, reaching the 14-year mark gives the organization the strength to continue its work. She stated that as the community continues to grow, they are seeing an increase in requests for help from parents, as well as from institutions that work closely with the foundation.
Tromp added that the foundation observes small changes in the support they provide that often have a significant impact on the lives of children and parents. To facilitate better communication with the community and extend their assistance, the organization is organizing a conference in honor of their 14th anniversary and International Family Day.
The conference aims to highlight the importance of balancing the various roles a person holds daily. Tromp explained that this involves thinking about one’s role as an individual, as a professional, and as a parent.
