ORANJESTAD (AAN) – A Three-Vehicle Chain Collision Outside Cayena Mall was reported on Saturday afternoon, prompting police to respond to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the crash involved three vehicles in a chain-reaction collision. According to the preliminary investigation, the driver of a Nissan March failed to maintain a safe following distance and struck the rear of a Toyota. The impact pushed the Toyota into the vehicle in front of it, resulting in the three-vehicle crash.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. Police documented the collision and gathered the necessary information as part of their investigation.
Authorities continue to remind motorists to maintain a safe following distance and adjust their speed to road conditions to help prevent rear-end collisions.
