ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Theresa Sanchez, a nursing caregiver in the B4 department at Hospital Dr. Horacio Oduber (HOH), has been recognized as the hospital’s Employee of the Month for June.
The announcement came as a surprise during a special gathering attended by her family, colleagues and members of the hospital’s Board of Directors, including Yuri Casseres. Theresa was honored for her exemplary dedication and compassionate care for patients.
HOH praised Sanchez for consistently providing high-quality care, treating patients and their families with kindness, respect and professionalism. She is recognized as a reliable team member who remains calm under pressure and listens carefully to the concerns of patients and their loved ones.
In addition to her daily patient care, Sanchez actively contributes to improvements within her department, promotes hygiene and infection prevention, and serves as a mentor for student caregivers by sharing her knowledge and experience.
