ORANJESTAD (AAN) – As widely recognized, the month of December is often associated with the season of unity and solidarity. Embracing this spirit, Colegio Arubano, together with Rotaract and the Key Club in Vondellaan, Playa, joined forces to show support, compassion, and solidarity toward the local community.
During this festive season, the initiative served as a meaningful opportunity to give back and assist those in need. For an entire week, the organizers opened a food donation drive, inviting the public to contribute. Every donation—large or small—made a significant difference.
Community members responded generously, donating a wide variety of essential food items, including canned goods, milk, baby formula, cookies, iced tea, lemonade mix, juice packs, cornflakes, macaroni and cheese, pasta, coffee, bags of rice, P.A.N. corn flour, flour, and many other food supplies.
The school administration and students expressed great satisfaction with the outcome of the food drive, highlighting that together, the Colegio Arubano community is stronger. Through these contributions, donors not only provided food, but also brought hope and joy into the lives of others.
Colegio Arubano extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed and supported this meaningful initiative.
