ORANJESTAD (AAN): Following the success of the first four episodes of “Noordflix,” Centro di Bario Noord is once again preparing to present a new episode to the people of Aruba. Episode 5 of Noordflix Legacy Noord will focus on the theme “Legadonan di Noord” (Legacy of Noord).
As Noord continues to grow and experience increased immigration in recent years, Centro di Bario Noord launched this educational and cultural initiative to connect both longtime residents and newcomers with the district’s rich history, identity, and traditions.
The project, titled “Noordflix – Bin conoce bo Districto,” began on March 22, 2024, with its first episode focusing on the history of Noord, presented by Vivianno “Vi” Frank. The second episode explored the identity of Noord residents with contributions from various speakers, while the third episode highlighted the past, present, and future of Noord. Episode 4 continued to strengthen community connections by sharing inspiring stories.
Now, on Thursday, April 16, 2026, Episode 5 of Noordflix Legacy Noord will be presented, placing a special focus on honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to the development and well-being of the Noord district.
The event will take place at Centro di Bario Noord from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The community will have the opportunity to learn about and celebrate the legacy of key figures who helped shape Noord into what it is today.
Residents of Noord and the wider Aruba community are invited to attend this special evening, which offers a unique opportunity to reflect, learn, and celebrate the district’s cultural and community heritage through Noordflix Legacy Noord.
