ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Noord Community Center recently opened its doors to the public, creating a welcoming space where residents gathered to watch the FIFA World Cup match between Curaçao and Ecuador.
The event brought together people of all ages who shared a passion for football and celebrated their community spirit. Throughout the evening, supporters enjoyed the match in a lively atmosphere filled with excitement, unity, and pride.
Beyond the game itself, the event highlighted the important role the community center plays in strengthening social connections and providing a place where residents can gather for positive experiences.
Building on the success of the event, the Noord Community Center announced that it will continue hosting World Cup watch parties. On Thursday, June 25, the center will welcome fans to watch Curaçao take on Ivory Coast at 4:00 p.m., followed by the Netherlands versus Tunisia at 7:00 p.m.
Organizers hope these activities will continue bringing families and neighbors together while encouraging community participation and creating lasting memories.
