NOAA Monitoring Tropical Wave; Low (20%) Chance of Development Near Caribbean
41
VIEWS

NOAA is tracking a tropical wave with a 20% chance of developing into a tropical depression or storm within the next seven days. Current model guidance points to possible development over the central Caribbean, well north of the ABC Islands—Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao—so there is no immediate threat to the islands.

While the system could deliver beneficial rain to parts of the region if it strengthens, forecasters note that heavy downpours may trigger localized flooding in vulnerable areas. Authorities and residents should monitor official updates as the system evolves.
