New Nature-immersed Yoga Deck Debuts at Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, Expanding Wellness Offerings for Guests and Locals

ORANJESTAD – Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, Aruba’s premier adults-only resort, has unveiled its newest wellness feature: a tranquil yoga deck nestled in a lush courtyard filled with native plants and trees. Overlooking Eagle Beach, often dubbed one of the “Dream Beaches of the World,” this serene space offers an inspiring backdrop for guests and locals to immerse themselves in health, mindfulness, and relaxation.

A Fitting Debut Centered on Rejuvenation

The yoga deck debuted on January 3, 2025, with a special session led by Andrea Herrera, a holistic wellness instructor. The inaugural class welcomed 13 participants, including both resort guests and locals, for a rejuvenating experience. The session began with setting intentions for the year ahead, followed by breathwork and the calming sounds of singing bowls. Participants eased into yin poses, experiencing a profound sense of relaxation before moving into sound healing therapy—a practice that uses sound vibrations to promote emotional well-being and reduce stress.

A Connection to Nature

Bucuti & Tara’s commitment to preserving Aruba’s natural beauty is reflected in the design of the yoga deck. The courtyard is surrounded by vibrantly green, native plants, including the very first tree ever planted by the resort’s co-founded reforestation nonprofit, Ban Lanta y Planta. The open-air space allows for gentle breezes while a bamboo roof offers shade and privacy, providing the perfect setting for relaxation.

Wellness Experiences Tailored for All

The new yoga deck will offer a variety of classes for all levels, including sunrise yoga, meditation, aerial yoga, Pilates, and cocooning. Guests can also enjoy sound healing and breathwork sessions. Private classes are available, and the resort’s certified wellness instructors will guide participants through mindful practices that promote balance and well-being. Guests can plan their wellness experiences before arrival by coordinating with their personal concierge or emailing wellness@bucuti.com for more details.

Expanding Bucuti & Tara’s Wellness Program

The new yoga deck represents a significant expansion of the resort’s comprehensive wellness program, which already includes state-of-the-art fitness facilities, personalized nutrition counseling, tailored wellness itineraries, and eco-friendly spa treatments. This deck enhances the resort’s offerings, providing a tranquil space for guests and locals to connect with nature and nurture their mind, body, and spirit.

The deck is an integral part of Bucuti & Tara’s three cornerstones: romance, wellness, and sustainability. The resort’s eco-friendly design, combined with the deck’s natural surroundings, allows guests to experience restoration while preserving Aruba’s precious ecosystem.

An Invitation to Wellness

Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort warmly invites guests and locals to experience the transformative power of its new yoga deck. With its stunning views, diverse wellness offerings, and commitment to sustainability, the yoga deck is set to become a central part of Aruba’s wellness scene, offering a peaceful retreat for all who visit.
