The Minister Plenipotentiary Schwengle first working day began shortly after Mildred Schwengle arrived in the Netherlands, marking the start of her official duties representing Aruba in The Hague.

According to information from The Hague, the Minister Plenipotentiary Schwengle first working day took place the day after her arrival on Thursday. On Friday morning, she was welcomed by staff members of the Cabinet of Aruba at the entrance of the office.

Warm Welcome by Cabinet Staff

During the Minister Plenipotentiary Schwengle first working day, the head of the legal department of the Cabinet of Aruba, Mr. Shandra John, presented a bouquet of flowers to Schwengle on behalf of the office staff.

After the welcoming gesture, Schwengle took time to meet and become acquainted with the rest of the Cabinet personnel as she began her new responsibilities.

First Meeting of the Kingdom Council of Ministers

Later the same day, the Minister Plenipotentiary Schwengle first working day continued with her participation in the Kingdom Council of Ministers (RMR) meeting.

This marked her first official meeting within the Kingdom Council since assuming the position of Minister Plenipotentiary.

At the end of the meeting, a special photo moment was organized where the three Ministers Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom posed together.

New Representatives

The meeting was also notable because it was the first RMR meeting for Curaçao’s Minister Plenipotentiary, Errold Bishop, who recently assumed his position as well.

The photos from the event were provided courtesy of the Cabinet of Aruba, capturing an important moment marking the beginning of Schwengle’s work representing Aruba within the Kingdom government structure.

The Minister Plenipotentiary Schwengle first working day signals the start of her role in strengthening Aruba’s representation and cooperation within the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
