ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Recently, Minister of Tourism Wendrick Cicilia, together with Parliamentarian Carlos Bermudez, honored tourists Walter and Joellyn Garside for their remarkable achievement of visiting Aruba 284 times over a span of 34 years.
The couple first visited Aruba in 1992, and they got married in 1996. Since then, they’ve made Aruba their frequent travel destination, with their visits totaling 284. According to Walter and Joellyn, they feel at home on the island.
Minister Wendrick Cicilia remarked, “30-plus years of visiting Aruba, that’s not just travel… that’s a love story.”
